During the break in finals on the last day of the Dave McCullagh International, Annie and Peggy also competed at the Regional Skills Academy Interpros. Four regions of Ireland went head-to-head across: 4 x 50m Kick Relay 100m Freestyle 200m Individual Medley Ulster were victorious, lifting the 2026 trophy. Both Annie and Peggy took this on in addition to competing all weekend at the McCullagh International — making for a very long Sunday and a demanding end to the meet. To step up, race twice in two environments, and contribute to a regional win shows resilience and maturity. Well done to both girls on representing Ulster and the club so well.

Eight swimmers competed at the McCullagh International Meet in Dublin with 4 medals, 15 finals, and 7 personal bests. Lottie medalled in all backstroke events while Zach reached both breaststroke finals with PBs.

Rosie Whitten, a lifelong Swim Belfast member training at Cleveland State University, competed at the Horizon League Conference Championships with strong performances including A Finals in the 200 Free.

On Saturday 15th February, Swim Belfast will host one of the largest club open meets in the region at the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex with over 800 swimmers from 26 clubs confirmed to compete.
