On Saturday 15th February, Swim Belfast will host one of the largest club open meets in the region at the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex. With over 800 swimmers from 26 clubs confirmed to compete, the Swim Belfast Open promises a full day of fast racing, big performances and an electric atmosphere poolside. Swimmers from across Northern Ireland and beyond will travel to Lisburn to test themselves in a highly competitive but welcoming environment - a meet designed to give athletes the opportunity to race hard, chase times and gain valuable competition experience. The event will run across multiple sessions throughout the day, featuring a full programme of age-group and senior events. With so many clubs represented, spectators can expect tight finishes, personal bests, and plenty of team pride on display. Head Coach Ross Gillespie said: "This meet is about giving swimmers the opportunity to perform in a well-run, high-energy environment. With 800 athletes racing, the atmosphere will be brilliant. We\'re looking forward to welcoming every club to Lisburn." The Swim Belfast Open continues to grow year on year and has become a key fixture in the competitive calendar - bringing together swimmers of all levels in a professionally delivered, athlete-focused event. Live results and updates will be available throughout the day on the Swim Belfast website. Spectators are welcome - come along and support the swimmers for what promises to be a fantastic day of racing.
