Saturday 13 January 2018 saw the Swim Ulster Development Gala 2 take place in Ballymena. A team of 26 CoB swimmers competed, taking home some absolutely super swims and lots of pbs. Michael Devlin 2nd in 50 fly;
newcomer Alexander Hale 3rd in 100 breast ;
Jack Heatherington 3rd in 50 fly;
Lorcan Murnaghan , 3rd in 50 fly;

Chloe Young, 3rd in 100 free.
CoB coach Sophia Cross commented “..this was Hilary and my first time, as coaches, watching the City of Belfast swimmers compete. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day, and this was made by the great attitude of the swimmers, and support from parents. With the recent change to age up on the 31st December, it led to a busy and competitive meet. This did not daunt the City of Belfast swimmers who stepped up to the mark, making a valiant attempt at streamlining and swimming fast. Their starts and turns were much improved…Well done to all the swimmers who attended, and thank you to the parents for getting them there”
Well done to all our team – you made COB proud – and to Swim Ulster for hosting the event!
